On the 23rd of January 2020, I have officially graduated from my Master’s degree in International Security at the University of Warwick!
Throughout the entirety of last year, I have broadened and deepened my knowledge on concerns about the stability of the state system, the changing nature of war, nuclear proliferation, military strategy and effectiveness of international organizations.
With my dissertation, I have touched upon the relation between the limitations of counter-terrorism policies and the social construction of terrorism which is of great relevance in our contemporary world given the orthodox conceptualization of this phenomenon.
It goes without saying that my MA degree in International Security has enabled me to specialize my knowledge within this field.
In this very moment, I have realized that that the possibilities of pursuing my passion in finding sustainable solutions to challenges to peace and security are now endless, becoming eager to contribute with my insights and expertise to the work of IGOs in the near future.
Of course, this amazing one year journey would not have been the same without these fantastic individuals!
They all inspired me in many ways, always challenging my perspective within our field through our numerous insightful discussions.
I am very thankful for all of their invaluable support, being grateful to have met them all and to be closing this wonderful chapter together.
I truly hope that our paths will cross soon!
Now I am more than thrilled to be part of and grow with the global network of Warwick Alumni!- Mens Agitat Molem
